Audit Logging & History
In enterprise environments, knowing who changed what and when is essential for governance, security audits, and regulatory compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA). Kyb automatically captures an immutable audit trail of every modification across your projects.
Viewing the Audit Log
Navigate to Settings > Audit Log within Project Settings. The audit table displays a paginated chronological feed with relative timestamps, actor email addresses, action pills, and affected entity labels.
Tracked Operations
The governance engine records actions across six operational categories:
Creation, property modification, reclassification, and deletion of entities and connections. Includes source changes from AI chat and cloud discovery commits.
Creating new views, modifying view queries or seed criteria, persisting custom manual layout positions, and view deletions.
Granting roles (Viewer, Annotator, Editor, Admin) to users, role updates, and access revocations.
Archi model imports, cloud sync jobs, point-in-time restores, and graph clearance operations.
Search & Actor Filtering
Quickly locate specific incidents or changes using the audit search bar. You can filter by:
- • Actor email address (e.g.
[email protected]) - • Action type (e.g.
entity.delete,access.grant) - • Target entity name or identifier
Compliance Exports (CSV / JSON)
Click the Export button at the top of the audit log panel to download full audit trails in CSV (for spreadsheet reviews and stakeholders) or JSON (for ingestion into SIEM tools like Splunk, Datadog, or Google Cloud Chronicle).
