Team Management
Kyb supports collaborative architecture work. Invite your team, assign roles, and control who can view, annotate, or edit each project.
Inviting Team Members
Navigate to Settings > Team to manage your team. You can invite new members in two ways:
- Email invite -- Enter an email address and Kyb sends an invitation with a signup link.
- Shareable link -- Generate an invite link that anyone with the link can use to join your team.
Organisation Roles
Every team member has an organisation-level role that determines their baseline permissions:
Full control over the organisation, billing, and all projects. Can transfer ownership. Only one owner per organisation.
Can manage team members, create and delete projects, and configure organisation settings. Cannot change billing or transfer ownership.
Can access projects they are invited to. Cannot manage team members or organisation settings.
Project-Level Roles
In addition to organisation roles, each project has its own access controls. When sharing a project with a team member, assign one of these roles:
| Role | View | Annotate | Edit | Admin |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Viewer | Yes | -- | -- | -- |
| Annotator | Yes | Yes | -- | -- |
| Editor | Yes | Yes | Yes | -- |
| Admin | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
- Viewer -- Can browse the graph and views but cannot make changes.
- Annotator -- Can review entities (approve/reject) and add descriptions, but cannot create or delete entities.
- Editor -- Full editing access: create, update, and delete entities and relationships.
- Admin -- Editor permissions plus project settings, discovery configuration, and member management for the project.
